Hi there, I'm Alice.
I work in international engagement and Indonesian cultural diplomacy and I love telling a little story or two. I'm particularly interested in projects or topics which are culturally respectful and sustainable in the areas of tourism, education, research, social impact and the arts.
At the heart of who I am, I help people feel at ease, connect ideas, and see things from different perspectives so that genuine relationships can form, meaningful projects can grow, and visionary ideas can be translated into real-world action that actually make a difference.
I look for spaces where cultural exchange leads to long-term connection and community-led impact rather than just political optics.
As Indonesia moves towards becoming a top-five global economy by 2040, there is certainly an economic argument for greater engagement and I would argue that quality collaboration goes far beyond financial transactions. Sustainable economic growth is often dependent upon the richness of our mutual cultural understandings and the depth of our relationships.
In my
story-telling, I like to share of genuine human connection, moments of amazement and learnings through my travels in Indonesian and in my daily life - often with a little humour (
because I can't help myself).
If you're looking to build something meaningful, navigate a complex cultural landscape, or need a compelling writer to bring your Indonesian-related events, travel projects, or cross-cultural stories to life - I'd love to hear from you.
